to fight the displacement of our people due to gentrification in a simple and sustainable way, by connecting black people & businesses throughout North America via a social marketplace where the proceeds are used to reinforce neighborhoods.
Black Wall Street in the neighborhood of Greenwood, in Tulsa, OK was the epitome of Black Excellence. We had all the essentials of a micro-society, Banks, Grocery stores, RealEstate offices, Restaurants, clubs, lounges, and more.
The Amazing thing is Tulsa, OK was not the only occurrence of a Black Wall Street! They Were spread throughout the nation and are starting to sprout up again all over. We are here to continue and build upon what our ancestors started with a virtual Black Wall Street that connects all others and uses proceeds to reinvest in neighborhoods across the country by offering home and business loans in areas primed for gentrification.
It’s important to highlight the true reason for the success of all the black wall streets in the past. The success came from the community supporting those businesses whether out of necessity or by preference. Without the support of the community, they would have never become vibrant marketplaces.
That is why this is a social marketplace for all of our people to be a part of Whether you have a business or not, we want you to join and socialize with the community, create social groups about your areas of interest, talk about issues that affect your life and of course shop with the community.
If you already have a following we want to collaborate with you! You’re welcome here reach out to us and lets work together.
We aim to accommodate all types of businesses, not just product-based businesses but service-based businesses as well and even those side hustles. We want everyone to have a hand in creating and shaping what Black Wall Street looks like now and in the future.
We have grown as a people over the past 100 hundred years and so has the way we do business and interact with each other. There is a place for you here and we welcome you.
our Mission is to fight the displacement of our people due to gentrification in a simple and sustainable way, by connecting black people & businesses throughout North America via a social marketplace where the proceeds are used to reinforce neigborhoods.
